Frequently asked questions

Where are my recipes stored?

Free tier: locally in your browser only. With Pro or trial: locally and in our Supabase database (in France, EU). No one else can see your recipes.

What if I cancel? Do I lose my recipes?

No. On cancellation your account switches to read mode: your recipes stay visible and exportable (PDF/JSON/Markdown), and the extension keeps working locally. Cloud data is kept for 90 days.

Does Rasp work on every recipe site?

On virtually every site. Rasp uses JSON-LD, microdata and smart DOM heuristics, plus AI extraction for pages without structured data.

What does the AI do? Does it read my recipes?

AI (Claude) is only used to read recipe pages without structured data, to extract photos of cookbooks, and to translate recipes. It only sees what you actually clip — no browsing history, no profile data.

How does the free trial work?

Create a free account and get 30 days of full Pro. No credit card up front. At the end you choose: upgrade to Pro (€27.99/year or €3.62/month, incl. VAT) or fall back to the free tier.

What does Rasp Pro cost?

Is there a mobile app?

Yes! The Android app is now on Google Play. Share a recipe link or social post straight from Instagram, TikTok, Chrome, Safari or Pinterest into Rasp and AI turns it into a clean recipe. Snap a photo of a recipe card or cookbook page too — AI reads it. The iOS app follows once Android is stable.

How does the referral programme work?

Every account has a personal invite link. Share it — or just share a recipe; anyone who signs up through you becomes your referral. When they go Pro you earn a cash commission, paid monthly to your IBAN. Details in the terms.
